Review: Fräulein Wunder, The Rasmus
After an odyssey in Dresden, two friends and I arrived slightly annoyed at Alter Schlachthof. We parked almost directly in front of the building and have been surprised why there was noone. A few steps away from the car and around the corner and the fence, there came the big scare. A long queue in front of the building showed us that The Rasmus are still alive - despite prolonged "not hear" in Germany.
Even younger fans were there with your parents, to be able to see their idols.
We found some friends a little further in front of the queue and lined with them. Ten minutes later the inlet begun and we were sometimes as felon sampled to get an entry into the concert hall. After waiting a few minutes long, the first already become impatient and look forward to stage, while others were strong on talk. Suddenly it banged loudly and a lot of people were looking frightened to stage. Pia, drummer of Fräulein Wunder, let her instrument produce loud sounds to attract attention.

Kerstin and Steffi came onto stage and the audience tried to let the show flow. The singer Chanty entered stage last and sung the first sounds. The people were very carried away, but the spark did not really got over. However the "Fräulein Wunder" girls could not be swayed and put out a good show. After a good half-hour they finished with the current sinlge "Sternenradio" and then let the stage for the guys from The Rasmus.
After an hour's break it finally went on. The stage was in fog and blue light and in the background was a The Rasmus' back drop hanging.
The first sounds of "Livin 'in a world without you" were played and the Finns were storming stage.
Lauri appeared as last, but was received the loudest by the sometimes deafening screaming girls. Many begun to bounce and sing with the singer. This song came the "Grand Opening" to a colorful mix of songs of all the guys' albums. "No Fear" and "In My Life" were next and later followed by "Justify" just another song of the current album. I saw some fans discovered with a slight shiver, and my girls went with the music too and watched the stage spell bounded. Almost continuously flashes came from every corner, everyone tried to attempt a good snapshot of his favorite one. With "FFF-Falling" everyone started to jump and romp.
The spark has finally got it's way to the mass. Drummer Aki establishes himself fully into the stuff and played for his life. Pauli acted rather like a dyslexic movement, while bassist Eero also gave everything. He could also convince with a fantastic vocal solo. Lauri made him free hand and Eear showed how he as a man can produce sounds with so many women have problems with. Now everyone had goose bumps.Unfortunately it was already coming to an end and the guys were moving off stage wordlessly.
From a corner one screamed "Zugabe" but someone can not leave to speak against: "Hey, they can not understand your German! WE WANT MORE". Suddenly, it resonated throughout the hall: "We want more" and Lauri came with a wide grin on his face on the stage. "Jeah, ok, we play more, but now you have to sing for us!" With these words he asked a girl from the audience to come in front to sing a serenade with him. How should it be otherwise, in Finnish of course, the boys must also have their fun. It was"Rakkaus Lauluu" and the blonde young lady knew the text quite well and at the end she turned a lap of honor on stage.
The song "Sail Away" was at the end but we knew that it really was over for this evening.Total done by all singing along people left leave the hall; and many were still storming the merchandise stand. All in all, one can say that this was a very successful concert -even though the hall was not as filled as expected.
